3 star Hotel Scheppers Rome is located in a part of town known as Aurelio, as it straggles one of the empire’s oldest roads - the Via Aurelia. Via Aurelia actually leads from Rome all the way to France and beyond, but the part that concerns us is in the south west of the city, about 20 minutes drive from Fiumicino Airport and the same from the Vatican and St Peter’s in the centre.
